It's actually been 1495 days since my last journal entry, but 1500 sounded more dramatic, and I couldn't be bothered waiting 5 days...

Obviously there has been a LOT that has happened in the last 4-odd years, so I'm not going to run through it all, suffice to say that COMICS are my big thing at the moment. I'm reading them, reviewing them, writing them, and even drawing them.

I started reading them regularly when Marvel released an iApp, and then on top of that, I subscribed to their Digital Comics Unlimited service. In the year since doing this, I've read soooooooo many comics. Also, because I review them, I get review copies sent to me as well. I started writing them because a Twitter friend started up a website called Thoughtballoons in which they pick a different comic character each week and then we each write a one-page script based (sometimes loosely) on said character. It's great fun, and I'm enjoying it more than writing screenplays. However, I realised pretty quickly that if you want people to read your comic, they aren't going to do so in script form, so I've recently started up a webcomic based on ONE of my ideas. If only I had the time to do them all. Oh well...

Anyway, I'm going to keep it short and sweet, as no one reads these things anyway, and leave it at that.
